Saturday, March 21 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The Home Depot 11755 Willow Creek Dr., Auburn
Across the country, federal immigration raids are targeting working people — including day laborers who gather in Home Depot parking lots to seek honest work. These actions have created fear in immigrant communities and raised serious concerns about due process, civil rights, and basic human dignity.
Protesters are calling on Home Depot to take a clear stand: Publicly oppose ICE raids conducted on or near its properties. Adopt policies that protect day laborers from being targeted in its parking lots.
Taking Back the House is our BEST change to STOP Trump! California did its part by passing Prop 50. Now there's one more thing we can all do - make calls to voters in Virginia who will be voting on a new Congressional District map on April 21st.
We're using a dialer system to make the calls more efficient so you'll need to have a computer or laptop and internet access.
Wine and pie pairing is simply about choosing a wine that makes your pie taste even better. When they’re balanced, the flavors really shine and bring out the best in each other.
One voter and one conversation at a time … that's how Democrats win!
Studies have shown that turnout increases by up to 9 percentage points through door-to-door canvassing!
Are you thinking about canvassing, but don't feel quite ready? If you've never canvassed before, or just need a refresher, join the Bay Area Coalition Tuesdays, 7 pm (PST) to talk about what your canvassing day will look like.
You'll leave the call fired up and ready to knock on doors!
Monday, March 30 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Mahany Fitness Center Riley Meeting Room 2 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville
Are you concerned about what is happening in our nation? The routine violation of laws and norms by Republicans, and the normalization of this behavior by the media?
What about the erosion of our rights and our democracy? Or the despicable abduction of people off our streets into prison camps. These are just some of the topics slated for our neighborhood Coffee & Conversation.
Join us with your neighbors, friends and other like-minded individuals for a relaxed, but lively conversation on concerns and issues important to you and our community.
Light refreshments will be served.
Please RSVP so we can anticipate the number of attendees for this event. Capacity is limited to 60 attendees. And share this with like-minded friends!
