The Communications Committee helps share our message in ways that connect with voters and strengthen the party’s voice. We handle both internal and external communications—like newsletters, email updates, social media, press releases, and graphics—to highlight our values, support campaigns, and spread the word about events and opportunities that encourages member involvement within our community.

Membership fosters a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse environment for new members, acting as a friendly bridge between the club and the wider community. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate and up-to-date member records, including contact information and dues status, as well as verifying which members are eligible to vote on club business, make endorsements, or represent the club at regional and state meetings.

The Political Action Team plays a key role in supporting Democratic candidates and ballot measures at the local, state, and federal levels. We roll up our sleeves to organize hands-on efforts like canvassing, post-carding, phone-banking, and community-building events such as Coffee & Conversation meetings. Using tools like PDI, our team connects with voters, supports campaigns, and helps build strong, people-powered Democratic organizing.

The Program Committee develops engaging programs that spark interest, encourage member participation, and support the club’s overall goals. This includes identifying, vetting, and coordinating with guest speakers—such as elected officials, candidates, activists, and policy experts—to educate members on current issues and strengthen the club’s organizing efforts.

This committee brings the party’s values to life in the community, making a real impact beyond the election cycle. Acting as the outreach arm, they focus on service projects like diaper drives, volunteering at Feeding the Foothills, connecting with schools and libraries, adopting local charities, and organizing Adopt-A-Street cleanups. These efforts not only meet local needs but also create opportunities to connect with neighbors, build a positive presence, and strengthen our community ties.

Social & Fundraising brings people together through casual social events and engaging gatherings that energize members, celebrate Democratic values, and help people connect with like-minded community members. From local meetups to fundraising events, they build solidarity, inspire grassroots activism, and raise important funds to support the long-term growth of Democratic power and civic engagement.
