On Sunday, October 19th, we're protesting in front of our local station to hold Fox accountable for poisoning our democracy. We understand KTXL Fox 40 provides some good local news coverage. What we are bringing attention to – and protesting against – is Fox 40’s payment of affiliate fees to the national Fox Network.

Affiliate fees tie local stations to the broader Fox media machine, ensuring that money earned from Sacramento viewers contributes to sustaining the network’s controversial content and amplifying its reach.

The Democratic Club of Lincoln is excited to host Mike Thompson, who represents California's 4th Congressional District. Should Proposition 50 pass, Lincoln will become part of CD-4 and Rep. Thompson will likely be our Democratic candidate for Congress in 2026.

Congressman Thompson is a veteran and former CA State Senator. In Congress, he has authored landmark climate change and gun safety legislation, and sits on the powerful House Committee on Ways and Means.
