In the coming months, candidates will begin declaring their candidacies for School Board, Lincoln City Council and the newly formed BLUE California congressional districts and launching their campaigns.
With the passage of Prop 50, Lincoln will become part of CA District 4. At present, the Democratic congressional field for CA District 4 includes incumbent Mike Thompson and challenger Eric Jones.
Two seats on the Western Placer Unified School District (WPUSD) School Board and two seats on the Lincoln City Council will be up for election in November and we are currently screening candidates. Securing representation for Democratic values in our local government agencies is critical to ensuring an inclusive and thriving future for our community.
Voter outreach efforts—including phone banking, canvassing, coffees and postcarding—will begin in the months ahead. Be sure to watch for updates and opportunities through our newsletter and on our website.
As you think about your New Year’s resolutions, resolve to stay active, to help activate others, and to invite friends and neighbors to join us. If you're prepared to step up and run for local office, we will support you in every way we can.
This election is our one chance to stop MAGA's destructive policies and hold our elected officials accountable, from Trump on down! Every action you take to save democracy matters!

Bring a sign or grab one on-site. There's plenty of shade and parking at 2200 Douglas Blvd.
Barb and Pat started the RATT Pack in 2017 in response to the first Trump administration's shenanigans. His second term is even worse.
