Thank you! Thank you for everything you've done, are doing, and will do to protect our Democracy!
The Prop 50 election shows that when we get behind a righteous cause, we can deliver extraordinary results. Retaking control of Congress and electing Democrats up and down the ballot in 2026 are the next steps in our pro-Democracy movement.

Hannah Holzer is a Placer County native, UC Davis graduate, and The Sacramento Bee’s op-ed editor.
Robin Epley is an opinion writer for The Sacramento Bee with a focus on area politics, a Sacramento native and graduate of Chico State.
